Checkin is an app designed to help you handle visitors to your building by alerting tenants of your building directly when they have a visitor or delivery. In order to help organise your buildings (or locations) you can create a number of tenant companies to group your tenants. For example, if you had a shared workspace consisting of three offices, you would create three tenant companies and add the employees for each office to the appropriate tenant company. This allows a visitor to distinguish between John Smith working for Company A from John Smith working for Company B.
In order to create a location, you need to click the "New Location" button on your dashboard. You will then need to select a plan based on the needs of your location. If you have not already added a payment card, you will need to do so before creating a location. You can change the location plan at any time by clicking the change subscription link on the location card on your dashboard
In order to create a tenant company, while on your dashboard, clikc the view button on the selected location. Then click on "Add New Tenant Company" button in the top right. You will be asked to name the tenant company, then click "Done".
Each tenant company will have a designated manager to organise the employeees of a tenant company & help visitors who know which company they are visiting but not the name of the person. As such, if a visitor cannot find or does not know the name of the person they are due to visit, the manager of the tenant company will recieve the notification.
In order to add a manager to a tenant company simple click the 'invite manager' link in the location page or from the edit tenant company page. This will provide you with a sign up link, please send this to the manager so that they can agree to the terms & conditions of the app and begin managing their tenant company.
Managers of a tenant company will have a link to send out to their employees. These employees will need to provide their email and agree to the terms & conditions of the app.
From your dashboard, click the "Change Subscription" link on the location card. Then select a new subscription plan. This will display the new price of your subscription and ask you to confirm the new subscription plan.
If you don't have a logo for your location you can use some text instead, simply click the 'Don't have a logo image?' link in the branding section of the customisation page to add a text logo.
